Condolences

New Zealand Coal Mining VictimsNew Zealand Miners

In a fine article, BBC has profiled the lives of a few of the lost New Zealand miners. It's heart-breaking when there is no happy ending. Sometimes when you see tragedy from afar, it is easy to forget that each person killed in disaster had an individual story. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11828498

  2. This is true; what is tragic for one family becomes mundane for the public at large; sad but real. Thanks for pointing it out.

  3. About a week after this tragic event, there was another story from New Zealand about three young men rescued after 50 days lost at sea. Extremes of hope and despair. Welcome, taste, I checked out your site and all those desserts made my mouth water!! Thanks for sharing your comments.
